Barbara received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Douglass College in 1976. She retired in 2008 with over 20 years of service as a School Teacher with the South Brunswick Board of Education, spending her later years with the district developing and implementing physical education curricula for students with special education needs. Her retirement in 2008 ushered in the best years of Barbara’s life, one in which she became known as “Nanny” to her four adoring grandchildren. Together they enjoyed many sleepovers, movie nights, ice-cream sundae building competitions, and endless arts & crafts. She traveled frequently with her husband to islands in the Caribbean and especially loved vacationing in Aruba with their dear friends and treasured the memories made on these trips.
