Kevin was Brian’s (and Jody’s) older brother when we were kids living on Hill Road in Edison, NJ. We went to St Mathews Catholic School, also in Edison. I recall Kevin, at some event, playing the accordion. I was so taken by his performance I asked my parents if I could learn to play the accordion as well. I was in 1st grade when that happened, and not long after, I learned to play the accordion, and years later I performed at a couple events at St Matthews as well. I ended up playing for over 15 years, all due to Kevin’s performance in ~1963. Sadly, he never knew he was my initial inspiration in music, And I suspect he motivated others in many ways.
