Obituary of Thanh N. Nguyen

Thanh N. Nguyen, 71, of Dayton died Monday, October 17, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Quang Binh, Vietnam, he left in 1975 as a war refugee along with his 10 younger brothers and sisters. They settled and found a new home in New Jersey where he resided the rest of his life. He combined a personal and professional passion for photography that he worked in until 2009 when he retired from Fujifilm in Edison. He was also a member of St. Cecilia’s Church, Monmouth Junction where he celebrated many joyous life events.

The eldest son of the late Toan and My-Thuan  Nguyen, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Chau (Le) Nguyen, his son Minh and daughter-in-law Nadia, a daughter Long, and 2 grandchildren Nolan and Altai.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am on Friday, October 21, 2022 at St. Cecilia’s Church 10 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the MJ Murphy Funeral Home, Monmouth Junction. 

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Cecilia’s Church.
