Obituary of Jeffrey A. Vetter

Jeffrey A. Vetter, 64, of Monmouth Junction, NJ passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 with his loving family by his side. 

Born in New Brunswick to parents Jack and Mary Vetter, Jeff has been a lifelong resident of the area.  He worked as an electrician for Rutgers University for 30 years.  In addition, he worked at the Lawrenceville School as an electrician and owned his own business. 

Jeff had the ability to befriend everyone he met.  Hardworking by nature, he was always doing something.  He enjoyed taking care of his family home, creating memories by taking many photos, enjoying his Corvette, and spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed visiting Disney with his family. More than anything, family was most important to him. He would drop anything he was doing to help his family in any situation.    

Son of the late Jack and Mary Vetter, he is survived by his wife Karen Vetter; 4 children Jeffrey (Brenna), Stephanie (Joshua), Kyle (Megan) and Steven (Stephanie); brothers Jack Vetter (Debbie) and Joey Vetter (the late Patty); 3 grandchildren Farrah, Harley and Kira.  Jeff is also survived by 6 nieces, 4 nephews, extended family and friends.

Viewing will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5-8pm at the MJ Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 10am at the funeral home with a service beginning at 10:30am.  Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
