Obituary of Keith D. Toth

Keith D. Toth, age 61, of Plainsboro passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at his home in Plainsboro, NJ.

Keith was born in New Brunswick, NJ.  He attended St. Peter’s High School in New Brunswick graduating in 1978, and later was awarded his B.A. in Criminal Justice from Jersey City State College (New Jersey City University) in Jersey City, NJ.  He was employed by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton as a security supervisor. Keith spent 30 plus years dedicated to his Safety & Security profession and touched the hearts of Many at St. Peter’s University Hospital and RWJ Hamilton. His Big Heart matched his Big size and presence.

Keith loved sports, especially major league baseball and NFL football. He loved collecting military vehicles and studying sports history. He especially enjoyed meeting sports stars and attending sporting events. He was a lifelong Yankee fan. Keith was an avid and skilled trout and bass fisherman in which he spent time expertly navigating the streams of NJ. He was always first to congratulate his friends and share laughter and fun with All. Keith also loved visiting with his beloved relatives and friends in VA and FL and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Keith was predeceased by his parents William and Irma Toth, and brother William Toth Jr. 

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law (Loretta and John O’Neill, Sr.), sister Joan Toth, nephew and spouse John and Maureen O’Neill, niece (Jennifer O’Neill), longtime partner Joellen Vaughn, great nephews Christopher and Nicholas O’Neill, great nieces Megan and Sarah O’Neill and god daughter Mikki Thomas. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Monday, August 1, 2022 at MJ Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction 08852. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30PM on Monday, August 1, 2022 at MJ Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction 08852.
