Ray Gage Gibson, Jr., 95, of Kendall Park passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. He was born on June 16, 1926 in Detroit, MI, moved to New York City, and settled in Kendall Park in 1957. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and received his Masters in Journalism from Columbia University. He worked at Oil and Gas Journal, World Petroleum, and Carl H. Pforzheimer and Co. until his retirement in 1996, and he received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. After he retired, he was a member of the Princeton Pikers Investment Club. He was a member, Elder, and Deacon at Kingston Presbyterian Church.
Predeceased by his parents Ray Gage Gibson Sr. and Meta Magdalene Graves; he is survived by his wife Alta Jean (Cushman) Gibson; children and their spouses, Rosalie (Gibson) Briand and James of MA, Ray Gage Gibson III and Barbara of New York State, Brad Russell Gibson of Monmouth Junction, NJ, and Pamela (Gibson) Love and Andrew of, MD; his grandchildren Elizabeth, Katherine, James, Ray, and Robert; and great grandchildren Dalia, Iris, and Freya.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Kingston Presbyterian Church, 4565 Route 27, Kingston, NJ 08528.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Kingston Presbyterian Church.
