Obituary of Maryellen Cerrito
Maryellen Cerrito, 90, of Kendall Park died Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital of New Brunswick surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark, NJ, she resided most of her life in Edison before moving to Cranbury in 2004. Maryellen retired in 2008 with over 15 years of service as an administrative assistant with Davies and Associates. She was an active member of St. Matthew the Apostle Church and the Altar Rosary Society.
Daughter of the late Edward and Gertrude Cotter, wife of the late Leonard M Cerrito, she is survived by 2 sons and a daughter in law Michael Cerrito, Scott and Jennifer Cerrito, 2 daughters and a son in law Carolyn Troxell, Linda and Saverio Dalia, a sister Bernadette Alliston, 7 grandchildren Raymond, Vincenzo, Saverio, Michael, Tiffany, Raquel and Kyle.
The funeral will be held 9:00 am on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from the MJ Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am St. Augustine of Canterbury Church 45 Henderson Road, Kendall Park.
Entombment will follow in the Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
