It is with profound sadness that the family of Xiaoyong Yang announces his passing on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the age of 38.
Xiaoyong was born in Changchun, China in 1983. He later moved to the United States to pursue his graduate degree in computer science. Xiaoyong married Qing and built a beautiful family together, raising their son Leo and calling Plainsboro their home for the last 10 years. He had a successful career as a software engineer and worked at Siemens and Walmart for many years.
Xiaoyong loved literature and history, especially Chinese history. He was passionate about discussing political topics and issues with families and friends. Xiaoyong was the devoted protector of his family, a loving husband, a supportive father, a thoughtful son, an accountable colleague and a loyal friend.
Son of the late Pu Yang, Xiaoyong is survived by his wife Qing Li; son Leo Yang, mother Xiuping Huang, cousins and their respective families, and friends that love him very much.
Xiaoyong was a faithful Christian, a member of Princeton Christian Church, and the family is comforted in knowing that he is with his Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852.
The family is grateful to the church community for their tremendous care, love, and ongoing support.
