Obituary of Dorothy A. Noebels

Dorothy A. Noebels, 92, of North Brunswick, NJ, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at her home.

Born in Trenton, NJ, Dorothy grew up in Dayton where her family owned and operated Maul Electric. In 1981, she moved to North Brunswick where she resided ever since. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church and the North Brunswick Senior Center.

Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She remained home to raise her children, with whom she created an undeniably loving bond. Dorothy had an admirable sense of humor. She put her vocational training in dressmaking to use by spending countless hours tailoring clothes for family and friends and spent some time employed as a seamstress.

Daughter of the late Nicholas W. and Theresa M. Maul, and wife of the late Raymond F. Noebels, she is survived by her six children, Susan Maclary (Donald), Linda Rizzo (Frank), Nancy Pyne (William), Cynthia Meyers (Ken), Douglas (Colleen), and Raymond; her sister Cathy Spahr (Charles); 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Dorothy is also predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas and Eileen Maul and her sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Arthur Emerson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 9:00am until 11:00am. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00am. Internment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Care of Robert Wood Johnson, New Brunswick.
