Obituary of Glenn R. Cochran, Esq.
Glenn R. Cochran, 66, of Kendall Park, NJ passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021.
Glenn grew up in Mahwah, NJ where he was an Eagle Scout and a graduate of Mahwah High School. After graduation, he attended Drew University and Rutgers Law School in Newark, where he earned his JD in 1980. Glenn was a member of the Mercer County Bar Association since 1980 and the NJ and PA District Courts. He was also the Princeton Housing Authority’s board attorney.
Glenn was always a defender of the rights of others and was the ultimate gentleman with whomever he had adversarial dealings. He believed that you could argue your client’s case without malice and always looked for a resolution.
Away from the office, Glenn enjoyed all types of music and believed in love and peace, which he fostered in all his dealings with others. He found solace in the game of golf and was instrumental in creating the Princeton Manor Golf Group. He had numerous outings with the sole purpose of donating to the organizations of those who were taken from us all too soon. He loved to spend time with family whether while attending music concerts or just watching Looney Toons Cartoons with his grandchildren.
Son of the late A. Bruce and Ruth Cochran, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda (nee Venose); daughter, Marcie Vaneekhoven and son, Michael Procaccini (Jeanne-Marie); 5 grandchildren, Emily, Dylan and Aidan Vaneekhoven and Marco and Michael Procaccini; brother, Todd Cochran (Ada) and their children Kelly (Blake) Bedoya, Katie (Nick) Wen, Kyle Cochran, Tommy Sheehan, and a great nephew, Alden. Glenn is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
