Theodore Charles Fegley Munday, 84, of Kendall Park went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro. Born in Baton Rouge, LA, he resided most of his life in Cranford and Kendall Park, NJ. Ted graduated Cornell University, AB 1959 and Iowa State University, PhD 1964 in Inorganic Chemistry. He retired in 2003 after thirty-nine years as a Research Chemist in R&D, primarily at FMC laboratories, Princeton, an Associate Fellow, with numerous patents and publications.
After his salvation, Ted served forty-six years in various capacities at Kendall Park Baptist Church. He was a gentle man who encouraged many. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of ΣΑΕ social fraternity, and a participant in many musical activities. Ted loved to run and enjoyed racing, camping, hiking mountains, and playing baseball, especially with his family.
Son of the late John C. and Anna (Fegley) Munday, he is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years Elizabeth (Baldwin) Munday, three sons and two daughters-in-law Merrick and Debra Munday, Reese Munday, Dallas and Margarita Munday, a brother and sister-in-law John C. and Judi Munday, Jr., a sister Delia Munday, and seven grandchildren.
A burial service was held at Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, IA.
A memorial service will be held at Kendall Park Baptist Church, 3583 Route 27, Franklin Park, NJ on Friday, November 12 at 1:00 PM.
