Obituary of Edward G. Farnish, Sr.

Edward G. Farnish Sr., 80, of Monmouth Junction, NJ passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021.

Strong-willed and a country western fan and entertainer, Buddy, as he was affectionately known by many, was the embodiment of an all-around good man.  Buddy appreciated the many things his life had to offer, especially being outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing, the solace of being on the water on his boat and the open road in his truck or ‘78 Corvette.  Buddy was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Predeceased by his parents Edward L. and Mary Farnish and daughter Marielna Farnish, Edward is survived by his wife of 48 years Judy (nee Twardos); his son Edward G. Jr; sisters, Joan Kushwarra (Mike) and Marie Dzoba (the late Joe); grandchildren, Daniel, Edward G. III, MaryLou, Jonathan and Aubrey.  Edward is also survived by dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm.  Funeral will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 9:00 am at the funeral home.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15am at St. Augustine of Canterbury RC Church, 45 Henderson Rd., Kendall Park, NJ 08824.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, Jamesburg.
