John Francis Bojanek, 69, of Monmouth Junction passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at home in Monmouth Junction. John was born in Buffalo, NY.
He was employed by the State Of New Jersey in the Department of Environmental Protection for over 30 years until he retired. He was a lover of science, sci-fi movies, and craft beer. He loved hiking outside and staying active. He loved to travel with his wife, including to Italy, France, Portugal, England, and all over the United States.
He is predeceased by his father, Bernard Bojanek.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years JoAnn (Dessoir) Bojanek, daughter Katharine (Bojanek) Thomas, mother Marie (Dudek) Bojanek, son-in-law Paul Thomas, sister Julie (Bojanek) Gebhardt, brother-in-law Glenn Gebhardt, brother-in-law Ken (Donna) Dessoir, sister-in-law Susan (Dick) Haines, niece Joelle (Scrivano) Evans, her husband Jameson and her son Ryan, nephew Kevin Casey and his wife Jessica, niece Jennifer, niece Megan, niece Colleen, and six great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2-4PM on Sunday October 17, 2021 at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road Monmouth Junction. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. https://www.cancer.org/
