Obituary of Robert M. Lenart
Robert M. Lenart, 88, passed away on September 27, 2021. Bob was born in Perth Amboy N.J. on June 16,1933. His parents were immigrants from Austria-Hungary, who began a new chapter in their lives, in the land of their dreams, the United States.
He attended Perth Amboy High School and graduated in 1951. He entered the navy, and served from 1951-1955. He traveled around the world and served as an electrical engineer. Bob then began his civilian life as an accomplished roofer. He could install and repair any type of roof on any type of structure at any time. he was good at it.
One night in the 1970's he met a beautiful woman, Elizabeth Moroney, who happily became his lifelong wife in 1977. They were happily united until Elizabeth (BETTY) passed, due to breast cancer in 2018.
His two favorite hobbies were billiards and bowling. He and his wife were accomplished bowlers and won various awards and trophies. As far as his billiards was concerned, he was a great pool shooter who played in pool rooms with such greats as Steve Mezirak. I would be neglect not to mention his live long love for his baseball team the N.Y. Yankees.
He was a humble man who willingly helped to take care of his wife's ailing parents in their senior years. I believe after his years long battle with prostate cancer and all it's complications, he is reunited with his loving wife Elizabeth in GOD'S house.
