Obituary of George W. Schenck
George W.”Bill” Schenck, 85, of Dayton died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center of Plainsboro. Born in New Brunswick he was a lifelong South Brunswick resident. Bill retired in 2003 with over 32 years of service as an equipment operator with South Brunswick Township Department of Public Works. He was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church, life member of the Monmouth Junction Fire Department and a member of the Monmouth Junction Rescue Squad.
Son of the late George P. and Kathryn (Jamison) Schenck, husband of the late Helen M. (Duca) Schenck, grandfather of the late Jason Schenck, brother of the late Beverly, Raymond, Richard and Rodney. He is survived by 2 sons, Clifford Schenck, James Schenck, 3 daughters Cassandra Godinez, Debra Russo, Beth Ann Nelson, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction.
Burial will follow in the Kingston Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church 57 Sand Hill Road, Kendall Park, NJ 08824
