Obituary of Henry Charles Lasch
Henry Charles Lasch, 85, of Griggstown died Sunday, April 25, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Plainfield, NJ, he has been a resident of Griggstown for 55 years.
Henry retired in 1997 with over 31 years of service as a foreman with PSE&G. He was a life member and past President of the Griggstown Volunteer Fire Company serving as President for over 22 years. He was a past Fire Commissioner and a member of the Griggstown Historical Society. An avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman, Henry was also a member of the Gobblers Nob Rod and Gun Club. He loved baseball, especially the Mets, and enjoyed working on various projects in his garage workshop.
Son of the late Henry and Grace (Page) Lasch, and brother of the late George and Joseph Lasch, he is survived by his wife Angelina M. (Franzoso) Lasch; 2 sons Bryan Lasch and Kevin Lasch; a daughter Randi Snyder (husband Mark); 3 stepdaughters Karen Fircha, Michele Pagano (husband Livio), and Anne Marie Lisi; a brother Richard Lasch (wife Josie); and 4 grandchildren Cheyenne, Alina, Rebecca and Livio.
The funeral service will be held 9:15 am on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. Burial will follow in the Griggstown Cemetery, Griggstown. The visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
