Obituary of Concetta C Puzio
Concetta C. Puzio, 91 (affectionately known as Connie), of Brooklyn, NY died Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 at Park Place Center of South Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a lifelong resident. Concetta worked as a seamstress and her last job was at Phyllis Baby Wear in Brooklyn.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Belfiore, wife of the late Salvatore Puzio, sister of the late John Belfiore and Angelina Barone, she is survived by her 2 sons and 2 daughters-in-law: Anthony and Eleanor Puzio, and Joseph and Kate Puzio; and her sister Anna Balzano; and her 4 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Robert, Alison and Matthew.
Concetta was a devout Catholic and always prayed to “Sweet Jesus”. She loved her family and especially took a lot of pride in her grandchildren. Concetta was a great cook and baker and enjoyed spending time with her family, sharing stories, watching Yankee games, Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune and enjoyed doing jigsaw and word search puzzles. She led a generous life and always put others first.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 am on Friday, April 9, 2021, St. David the King Church 1 New Village Road, Princeton Junction, NJ.
Entombment will follow in the Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction.
