David J. Uveges, 68, of Dayton died Monday, March 8, 2021 at home. Born in New Brunswick,NJ he resided most of his life in Dayton. David retired in 2000 with over 20 years as a Heavy equipment Operator from R&R Construction, Chester, NJ. He was an avid car enthusiast attending many cruise nights and car shows. He loved his garden and his home, but most of all his sons and grandchildren were his life.
Son of the late Ernest Uveges, he is survived by his wife Joanna (Rotundo) Uveges, 2 sons and 2 daughters in law Nicholas Joseph and Nicole Uveges, Matthew Joseph Uveges and Heather Melczer, his mother Bernadette(Marinelli) Uveges, a brother Ernest Uveges, 4 grandchildren Chase Tyler, Oliver Henry, Eliott Russell, Jocelyn Shea, sister in law and brothers in law Barbara and Paul Clough, Anthony Rotundo, a niece Nicolette, nephew Austin and his best friend and fur baby Barkley.
The Funeral Service will be held 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New road, Monmouth Junction.
Friends may call on Saturday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions everyone must wear a mask and social distance.
