Enrique Barrios, 91, of Hamilton, NJ passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 1, 2021. Born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba in 1929 he was the youngest of 8 children. Enrique fled Cuba and moved to New York in August of 1969 where he found the love of his life, Euda Barrios. They married had one child and lived in NY until they moved to NJ in 2004. Enrique and Euda had a beautiful marriage until Euda passed in 2018.
Son of the late Manuel Barrios Alvarez and Caridad Barrios Pelegrin. He is survived by his daughter Iris Barrios, his granddaughters Kristina Cartwright and Stephanie Cartwright, and many nieces and nephews.
Enrique enjoyed time with his family, cooking and baseball. He was a hard worker and always made his family his priority. You could always count on him to light up any reunion with his funny stories and accounts of his life back in Cuba. Enrique also enjoyed watching Western movies & boxing. Above all, Enrique enjoyed his chats & videos with his granddaughters.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held this Summer by the family.
