MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL
Obituary of Nancy A Chiappinelli
Nancy A. Chiappinelli, 85, of Monroe died peacefully Monday, March 1, 2021 at Bridgeway Care & Rehabilitation Center at Bridgewater. Born in Newark, she resided most of her life in Edison before moving to Monroe in 2008. Nancy worked for JFK Hospital in Edison, but spent most of her life being a mother and a beloved nanny and showing her love through her delicious Italian meals and sweet baked treats. The family spent many happy years together in Manahawkin, boating, crabbing, going to the beach, and of course, enjoying some great seafood dinners. She loved to bowl, knit and crochet, and spent many days of the quarantine knitting scarves for everybody she knew. But the thing she will most be remembered for was being the life of any party, and the center of attention, joyfully dancing at every event in her life. In gratitude to Bridgeway Care Center, for lovingly encouraging her to dance away for all the years she called Bridgeway her home, and the staff and residents, her adopted family.
Daughter of the late Felix and Angelina ( Savoca ) Marinone, wife of the late James C. Chiappinelli, she is survived by 2 daughters Debra C. Knox, Karen Young, a sister Lucille DelNegro and 5 grandchildren Jimmy Knox, Ashley Knox, Michael Knox, Lauren Gold and Jeremy Gold, and many nieces and nephews.
