Michael Vincent McGann, 79, (known as “Vince” to family and friends), of Monroe Township, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, he moved to Kendall Park in 1974 where he lived for 42 years before moving to Monroe Township in 2016. After graduating Marist High School in Bayonne, he served honorably in the U.S. Army and was the quarterback of his unit’s football team. He attended Pace University. During his long career in banking, starting at the Greenwich Savings Bank of NY he met his wife Theresa (Terry). He later worked as a Vice President at the Dime Saving Bank of NY and consulted for Republic Bank in Florida. Vince enjoyed his travels to Ireland, visiting family in County Mayo, and many trips to Walt Disney World with his family over the years. He was an avid football fan and cheered and cursed the NY Giants and NY Yankees over many seasons.
