Obituary of Daniel Clark Tatum
Daniel Clark Tatum, 27, of Arlington, VA died Sunday, February 14, 2021. Born July 8, 1993 in New York, NY, he was raised in Princeton, New Jersey and attended St. Paul’s School. Daniel was a graduate of Notre Dame High School ’11 and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Daniel loved golf and grew up caddying at the National Golf Links of America. He was an avid snowboarder and runner. He had a passion for cars and would spend hours fixing up his old Volvo. He was often referred to as “Mr. Fix It” and would repair any appliance or electronic his roommates or grandparents needed. As he served as president of his fraternity, Phi Sigma Kappa, he became an incredible leader and role model to his friends. He had an appetite for life and continued to live life to the fullest whether it be through traveling, drinking good bourbon, watching marvel comic movies, or spending time with family and friends.
Daniel is survived by his loving parents Clark and Ann (Schnell) Tatum, his sister Elise Tatum, his grandparents John and Antonia Schnell, Sam and Marcella Tatum, his girlfriend Olivia Mathias, and several aunts, uncles and cousins including the Ellwood’s, the Helstrom’s, the Schnell’s, the Cunningham’s, and the Tatum’s.
