William John Capell, 70, passed away peacefully on November 25 at his home in Monmouth Junction NJ after a long illness. He spent his childhood on Staten Island, moving to Manville, NJ with his parents in 1961. He attended Franklin High School, and worked for most of his career at Egan Machine Co as a Project Manager. He travelled extensively to international customers during his career at Egan.
“Bill” as he was known to friends and family, was a lover of all music, with particular interest in Blue Grass music. He enjoyed not only playing most any string instrument, including; guitar, banjo, mandolin and violin, he also collected and meticulously restored them as a hobby. He had enjoyed travelling to, and participating in Blue Grass Festivals,
He is survived by 6 children, 10 grandchildren, and 3 brothers. Funeral services were held privately.
