Joseph Andrew Boyle Jr., 67, of North Brunswick died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Bayonne, he grew up in Edison and graduated from Edison High School in 1971, before enlisting in the United States Air Force. Known simply as Joe to all that were blessed to cross paths with him, Joe proudly served from 1971-1975, completing 2 tours in Vietnam with the 635th SPS. Joe enjoyed the outdoors and spent many days fishing with his nephew, great-nephew and his own grandson. He enjoyed sports and was a fan of the Raiders football team. He resided in South Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick in 2011. Joe retired in 2019 with over 3 years of service as a truck driver with Penske, South Brunswick and was previously employed by Nabisco in Edison.
Son of the late Joseph Andrew and Mary (Rowlinovich) Boyle, Sr., brother of the late Hannah Hammill, he is survived by his wife of 41 years Deborah A. Boyle, a son and daughter in law Joseph Andrew and Sabrina Boyle, III, a daughter Sandra Marie Gundogdu and soon to be son in law Ethan Lydon, 3 grandchildren Mehmet, Serra and Cloey, and by many nephews and nieces.
