I worked with Walter from Winthrop through his retirement in Princeton. He was one of the finest gentleman I had the pleasure to know. Funny in his most quiet way. Always provided a humorous insight on challenges we were faced with. He ran a creative shop with that same sense of humor... He would always remind us when it was Friday and he was going to spend it with June. When he retired, there was a hole left in our department... I can only imagine how his family must now miss him as well.
Peace to the House family.

Grandpa could always make us laugh with his unique and silly sense of humor. He was definitely one of a kind. He often shared his family history knowledge and photos with us and I learned so much about our family’s ancestry from him. I miss & love him very much.
