Raymond Magalski, 58, of Kendall Park passed away on May 3, 2019 while at home.
Born in New Brunswick, he resided in South Brunswick his entire life and was a member of the South Brunswick HS class of 1979. As a youth, Ray was an exceptional athlete and outstanding baseball pitcher. He worked in a steel fabrication company and as a chemical operator before joining the teamsters as a material handler working for Consolidated Freightways. Raymond enjoyed fishing, golf, and visiting the local casinos.
Raymond was predeceased by his parents Bernard and Ona Magalski; brother John (Jay) Magalski; and sister Jane Hollander. He is survived by his niece Michelle Hollander of South Brunswick; his nephews Christopher and wife Deena Hollander of Branchburg, and Paul Hollander of Woodbridge; and his brother-in-law Michael Hollander of South Brunswick.
A memorial visitation will be on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 12-1:30pm followed by a memorial service at 1:30pm at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick, NJ.
