Nancy M. Kane, 84, of Kingston and Whiting died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ringoes, she has been a resident of Kingston since1939. Nancy retired in 2000 with over 18 years of service as a Special education School Bus Driver with the Princeton Regional School District. She was a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church.
Daughter of the late Earl and Emma (Johnson) Mertz, Sr., mother-in-law of the late Kathy Kane, sister of the late Earl Mertz, Jr., she is survived by her husband of 66 years Roland G. Kane, Sr., 5 sons and 3 daughters in law Kevin K. Kane, Roland G. Kane, Jr., Timothy M. and Roberta Kane, Patrick R. and Laurel Kane, Joseph K. and Lisa Kane, a brother Martin Mertz, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Kingston United Methodist Church 9 Church Street, Kingston. Burial will be private.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4-8 pm at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction.
