Lea DeBari, 72, of East Windsor, NJ passed away Monday, August 27, 2018, at Merwick Care Center, Plainsboro, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Monteroni (LE), Italy, Lea immigrated to the United States in her early 20s and resided most of her adult life in South Brunswick, NJ, before moving to East Windsor in 2010. Lea was fiercely proud of her cooking, her hometown beach in Italy and, most of all, her four sons. She was also a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Church.
Daughter of the late Giovanni and Graziela (Civino) Coluccia, and beloved wife of the late Mauro DeBari, she is survived by her four sons and four daughters-in-law: Antonio and Tricia DeBari, Giovanni and Angela DeBari, Roberto DeBari and Kim Lasky, Riccardo and Dana DeBari. She is also survived by her sisters Dorina Castrignano, Enza Spagnuolo, eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, August 30, 2018, starting from the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, 45 Henderson Road, Kendall Park.
Entombment will follow in the Holy Cross Burial Park. Friends and family may call on Wednesday Evening from 3 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
