Alfred B. Gaissert, Jr., 63, of Edison, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at home. Born in Staten Island, NY, he was raised in Kendall Park and resided in Edison for over 20 years. Alfred was a former member of Kingston Presbyterian Church and an Elder and active member of Community Presbyterian Church of Edison and Alcoholics Anonymous,.
He was a very hardworking businessman. He enjoyed attending Plays in the Park in Roosevelt Park in Edison and loved the time he spent with his family.
Son of the late Virginia (Gonzales) Gaissert, husband of the late Mary H. Gaissert, he is survived by a son, Benjamin Gaissert; two daughters, Mary Lou Gaissert and Aimee L. Gaissert; his father, Alfred B. Gaissert, Sr.; his uncle, Carl Gaissert; two brothers, Stephen R. Gaissert and Kenneth G. Gaissert, two sisters, Gail L. Schmitt and Virginia Lynn Gaissert, and six nieces and nephews.
