Walter Noel Moyer, 88, of Kendall Park died Monday, March 5, 2018 at Kindred Hospital of Dover.
Born in New York, NY he resided in Kendall Park since 1959. He retired from Prudential 30 years ago with 30 years of service. He was treasurer for the Salvation Army, heading up the annual Kettle Drive for South Brunswick Township. He was a Boy Scout leader. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Through an AARP program he volunteered to help seniors with their taxes at the South Brunswick Senior Center.
Son of the late Gardner and Frances (Cunningham) Moyer, husband of the late Marian K. Moyer, he is survived by a son Neal Moyer, a daughter Marijane Moyer, a sister Elizabeth Northrup, and one grandchild Casey Morsett.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, March 18, 2018 at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Rd at New Rd, Monmouth Junction. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 19, 2018 at Oaklawn Memorial Park, South Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans (dav.org) or the Salvation Army (SalvationArmyUSA.org).
