William Winick, 99, of Kendall Park died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in New York, NY, he has been a resident of Kendall Park for over 59 years.
He was a United States Army World War II veteran, worked as a Jewelry Lapper, and was a distinguished cartoonist. A member of the South Brunswick Senior Center, William found joy in socializing with friends. Son of the late Sam and Bertha Winick, husband of the late Rita Winick, father of the late Philip Winick, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie K. and Steve Kopanyi, and a granddaughter, Alyssa Kopanyi.
The funeral Service will be held 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. Burial will follow in the Floral Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Brunswick Senior Center.
