Angelina (Ann) Cosumano Mitchell, 88 of Palm Bay, FL died on Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Palm Bay, FL.Born in Brooklyn, NY she resided in Kendall Park for many years before moving to Ocala, FL and then then to Palm Bay, FL. Ann retired in 1980 with many years of service as a cook at Princeton High School.

Daughter of the late Michael and Sara Tramutola, wife of the late Vincent J. Cosumano and William Mitchell, mother of the late Donald Cosumano, she is survived by 4 sons and 2 daughters-in-law Anthony and Lorraine Cosumano of Princeton, NJ, Michael Cosumano of Malabar, FL, David Cosumano of Palm Bay, FL, Vincent and Margaret Cosumano of Kendall Park, NJ, a sister Joan McInnis of Brooklyn, NY, 6 grandchildren Tina, Anthony, Melissa, Julie, Lisa, Michelle and 8 great-grandchildren, .

Ann was an avid reader and traveled extensively in the US and abroad. She was an excellent cook. She was a great gardener and worked part time as a professional seamstress. She was a faithful follower of Christ and was a generous, caring and kind person. She volunteered in many ways throughout her life including service through her churches to those in need, through prayer and as a eucharistic minister. She is dearly missed by her family.

Friends are invited to a remembrance gathering at the American Legion Post 401 Hall, 148 Major Road in South Brunswick on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 12 to 4 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am on May 1, 2017, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church 45 Henderson Road, Kendall Park, NJ. Burial will follow in the St. Peter’s Cemetery, North Brunswick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
