Debra was born in North Brunswick on January 20th, 1956. She was a dedicated Daughter and Best Friend to her late Father Frank Tocci. Also, predeceased by Mother, Dolores Tocci and Brother Frank Tocci Jr. She departed from earth in an untimely death, at the age of 65 on December 24, 2021 at her home in Monmouth Junction where she resided for 41 years, comfortable and surrounded by her loving family. 


She will be dearly missed and is survived by her Husband of 45 years, Ronald Katko; Daughter, Kelly Nash; Son, Ronnie Katko; Dog, Buddy; Best Friend, Rose Clark; Son-in-law, David Nash; Granddaughter, Lumin Nash; Granddoggy, Jesse; Brother-in-law, Theodore Katko; Sister-in-law, Janis Jones; Sister-in-law, Teddy Logan; as well as many friends and extended family who love her. 


Debbie was an incredible self-taught artist whose talents ranged from signs and fall fest decor on plywood to breathtaking acrylic landscapes on canvas. She loved to walk in fields with her Best Friend in search of artifacts, having found a plethora of treasures such as arrowheads, pottery and axes. She adored animals and it was often hurt animals found their way to her for healing.  Besides animals, she embraced being a caregiver for many people in their lifetime always willing to help those in need. She enjoyed softball, bowling and found great solace fishing with her father. She also loved the casino, scratch offs and the endless thrill of entering the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. Debbie was beautiful, strong, imaginative, creative, caring, giving, argumentative and fiery. Her energy will be missed forever. She is loved yesterday, today, tomorrow and always. 


A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 6-9pm with a memorial service 8pm at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home: 616 Ridge Rd at New Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852. All are welcome to join us in remembrance of Debra.
