Timothy G. Mulligan

Timothy Gerard Mulligan (05/20/1965) of Princeton Junction, NJ (formerly of Farmingdale, NY) died peacefully on March 1st, 2019 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving father of Declan, Colin, and Brendan, devoted son of Kathleen & the late Raymond J., cherished brother of Maureen O’Sullivan (Timothy), Raymond M (Beatrice), Susan Donohue (John), Kathleen Eisenhut (Thomas), and Gerard M (Caroline), adored by his fifteen nieces and nephews and two great-grand nieces. Tim will be sadly missed by his soulmate, Anne Higgins.

Tim graduated from St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School in 1983, Cornell University in 1987, and The Simon Business School of the University of Rochester in 1993. Noted for his integrity, humility, and sense of humor, Tim had a successful career for the past twenty years as a CFA, VP in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs.

Tim was passionate about sports. A major highlight was leading Cornell Lacrosse to the NCAA D1 Championship game in 1987. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Chelsea F.C. of the English Premier League. His passion for cycling brought him many joyful experiences, including a journey from San Francisco to the border of Mexico.

Tim’s most precious legacy was being a father, coach, and role model to his three sons. His love of life was contagious to all of those who met him, impacting members of the community beyond his family.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am on Monday, March 4, 2019 at The Peddie School Chapel 201 South Main Street, Hightstown, NJ. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, NJ.
