Dolores M. Kramp, 79, of Monroe Township passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Manhattan, NY, she moved to Yaphank, Long Island and in 1939 moved to Plainfield, NJ. She graduated in 1956 from high school and in May of 1960 from Douglas College and later received her master's degree in child psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dolores was an art teacher in the South Brunswick School District and started the art program in South Brunswick High School in its infancy back in 1960. She retired from teaching in 2003.
Daughter of the late Alois and Katherine (Frommer) Kramp and sister of the late Anna Marie Kessler and Eugene J. Benick Sr. She is survived by her brother Robert J. Kramp, niece Kathleen Benick, nephews Robert J. Kessler and Eugene Benick Jr., great nephews, Kevin Kessler Sr., John Kessler, Michael Kessler, great niece Kimberly Kessler and fourteen great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 7-9pm at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Rd. at New Rd., Monmouth Junction, NJ. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11:30am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Dolores M. Kramp Memorial Art Scholarship in care of South Brunswick High School, 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852.
