Philip A Bertucci, age 64 of Dayton Township, passed away on April 6, 2017 at Temple Lung Center in Philadelphia, PA.
Philip was born January 16, 1953, in Newark, NJ and grew up in Nutley, NJ where he attended Holy Family School and Nutley High School.
Philip distinguished himself in his academic pursuits completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at Princeton University and his Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering at Cornell University. Philip was a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey.
Philip fell in love and married Noreen Brady, whom he met at Camp Fatima in NJ where they both served as camp counselors. He is survived by his two children; Caitlin and Timothy Bertucci.
Philip spent most of his professional career working at Stone and Webster consulting engineers and the New Jersey Department of Transportation. He also worked in the U.S. Army program at Fort Monmouth preparing soldiers for admission to West Point.
Friends may call on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday, April 17, 2017 at St. Paul Church, 214 Nassau St, Princeton NJ.
Entombment will follow in the Holy Cross Burial Park, 840 Cranbury-South River Road, Jamesburg, NJ.
