Andrew K. Karras, 86, of Dayton died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at RWJ University Hospital New Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided most of his life in South Brunswick. Andrew was the owner-operator of Andy Boy Pickles and also worked as a security guard. He was active in the South Brunswick Democratic Party and the South Brunswick Senior Center.
Son of the late Konstantine and Stamatina Karras, husband of the late Thelma Karras, he is survived by 3 sons Stacy, Tony and Andrew, 1 daughter Konstance, and step-children Richard, Jill and Rory. He was a beloved grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather.
The funeral service will be held 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. Burial will follow in the Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
