Anna K. Peacos, 99, of Franklin Township died Monday, January 29, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, she was a lifelong Franklin Township resident. After graduating New Brunswick High School Anna received a scholarship to attend Trenton State College. Anna retired in 1978 with over 25 years of service as a Teacher with the Franklin Township Board of Education. She was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, loved gardening, traveling and was a conservationist.
Daughter of the late Julius and Anna (Redling) Kiss, wife of the late Michael Peacos, she is survived by her daughter and son in law Nancy M. and William MacKay, son and daughter in law Michael Martin and Colleen Peacos, 2 grandchildren and their spouses Michael and Hong Lim MacKay, Sarah and James Milligan, 5 great grandchildren Will, Haley, Kate, Kaelyn and Owen.
The funeral will be held 9:00 am on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, St. Augustine of Canterbury Church 45 Henderson Road, Monmouth Junction.
Burial will follow in the Ten Mile Run Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
