Bishop P.N.K. Manages, 73, of Somerset died on Tuesday September 19th, 2017 in Hillsborough NJ.
Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He emigrated to the United States in 1988, and has been a resident of New Jersey for over 28 years. He was a Bishop of Saint John Holy Coptic Orthodox Church, New York, New Jersey and Canada, National Synod Section. In recent years, he was the presiding Bishop at Bethel United African Church, Somerset, New Jersey.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Elizabeth F. Manages, Children: Patrick, Remie, Kultumi, Nathaniel, John, Orielly, Dora and Cornelius; Daughters-in-law: Tina, Marmah and Charlotte Manages, Sons-in-law: Samuel Siatti & Collins Goodwill; Sisters: Telay, Abioseh and Joko; Brother: Samuel Manages; Sister-in-law: Rita Manages; 25 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The Viewing and Funeral will be held 9:00 am and 11 am
On Saturday, September 30th 2017
at United Methodist Church, 323 George St, New Brunswick NJ.
The body will be flown to Sierra Leone for burial on Sunday, October 8th 2017
at Goderich Village Cemetery.
